Call for abstracts - BIO-ICT Asia workshop [id]

The Academy of Sciences Malaysia, French MOFAID-UNESCO of Jakarta, the French Embassy in Malaysia, the University Malaya, and the Malaysia France University Centre are pleased to invite submission of abstracts for BIO/ICT-Asia 2016 Workshop to be held on 30-31 May 2016 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.


BIO/ICT-Asia workshop offers four plenary sessions consisting of panel discussions on the four following themes : Biomass and Renewable En-ergies, Cybersecurity, Green Smart Cities, Health & Wellbeing.

Each session is open to a maximum of five participants. Presentations last for 15 min (10 min on scientific programs or projects, 5 min. on past or potential cooperation on the topic). Group presentations are accepted, with a time frame extended by 5 min.

Speakers may be scientists in the specified fields of research, notably researchers seeking for regional partners for new collaborative research projects, as well as Heads of International Relations of public and private research bodies.

Speakers are selected by the Scientific Committee through the attached Call for Abstracts.

BIO/ICT-Asia 2016 will accept abstracts until 21 March 2016 on the following Area of Interest (AOI) :

• Cybersecurity
• Green Smart Cities
• Biomass and Renewable Energies
• Health & Wellbeing
