Visite d’une délégation du MEDEF 7-8 avril 2010
Philippe LOUIS-DREYFUS, CEO of Louis Dreyfus Armateurs and Chairman of the Indonesia-France businessmen council of MEDEF International, will head a businessmen delegation to Jakarta on the 7th and 8th of April 2010. The 30 French businessmen represent various sectors of activity – transports, energy, construction & infrastructures, engineering, logistics, financial services, medical care, aeronautics & special industry, mining & metallurgy.
With this visit, MEDEF International, very involved and active for many years in the economic development and investment in Indonesia, wants to reaffirm the huge interest of French firms for Indonesia and for its economic modernisation.
The French business community wants to reassert its confidence in the setting up of a safe business environment.
The delegation aims to reinforce the contacts and dialog with the Indonesian authorities as well as with the business community, in order to identify projects and potential partners.
Along with meetings with the highest political authorities and Ministers, Philippe LOUIS-DREYFUS declares, “to be also very eager to have the opportunity to reinforce furthermore the ties with the Indonesian private sector, in particular on the occasion of the business luncheon with the KADIN and its members”. For him, “the French companies built a strong and long-term relationship in Indonesia and wish to create a strategic partnership with Indonesia for the future”.
MEDEF, the French Business Confederation, represents 85 sectorial federations and 155 local representations, gathering about 800 000 companies of all sizes and sectors.
MEDEF International promotes the knowledge and competence of French companies through high-level meetings and business delegations, to facilitate the ties between French companies and private and public world decision makers.
